On September 26, 1944, prisoners were deported to Zwolle, where they were forced to build fortifications along the IJssel River. The transport cards for these prisoners were stamped with a Z. This indicates the destination of the transport. Other cards are stamped with Arb. Eins. Reich, which means the prisoners were sent to work in Germany. It is not known which transports are represented by the stamps A and R. If you have any idea, please send an email to eguide@arolsen-archives.org.
