The backs of most of the preserved medical registration cards from Gross-Rosen concentration camp were also written on when the information on the front was no longer needed. In January 1945, eight months after Michail Kucharenko died in the sick bay, this card was created for Wieslaw Rutka. The backs of the cards are almost always the same as the fronts; only the prisoner’s personal details (prisoner category and number as well as first and last name) were not pre-printed.
