The identity cards issued in the British zone were only valid for three months. To renew them, UNRRA and later IRO employees in the camps had to stamp and sign them again. However, this area can contain not only DP camp stamps, but also stamps from German labor offices, for example, if the DP was working in the German economy. Some of the identity cards for people who spent long periods of time in the camps in the British zone are therefore covered with stamps.
