The names of the public health insurance funds are recorded or stamped on some member and benefit cards. However, there are also many cards which do not include this information. If the public health insurance fund is not included in the archival description either, sometimes a search in the inventory card file (Inventurkartei, Collection 0.2), which consists of over 75,000 index cards, may be helpful. The member and benefit card of Soviet civilian laborer Sonja Babitsch has the reference F-7-2754. This number was used by staff at the International Tracing Service (ITS), the predecessor institution of the Arolsen Archives, to cross-reference to the inventory card file. The information recorded there makes it clear that the card originates from the company health insurance fund of the New York Hamburger Gummi-Waren Compagnie in Hamburg. Sonja Babitsch must have been required to perform forced labor there. There is also a note explaining that cards were submitted relating to 295 people whose nationalities are listed on the back of the inventory index card.
