In addition to sick bay cards, documents known as medical treatment forms (Krankenblätter) were used in the concentration camps. These were apparently filled out while a prisoner was being treated. In the sick bay of Buchenwald concentration camp, a medical treatment form was used for Genowefa Plichta; there was space on the back of the form for information about fever, vomiting and other symptoms. On the medical treatment form from Dachau, the course of Adolf Burow’s illness during his time in the prisoner sick bay was recorded on a total of three pages. His temperature chart and other symptoms were noted on an extra sheet, known as a treatment form (Behandlungsbogen).
