The Buchenwald prisoner Josef Volny was forced to work as a foreman in the carpentry workshop of Deutsche Ausrüstungswerke (DAW). The fourth line of the bonus list from the DAW carpentry workshop indicates that he received a bonus of 14 Reichsmarks in May 1944. Volny had the money paid out to him on May 19, 1944. This is noted on his money account card. In July 1944 he received another bonus, this time amounting to 20 Reichsmarks.
