The Office Group D was always on the search for prisoners with specific training. These prisoners were supposed to be assigned to work as skilled laborers in their profession. In a memo from July 1944, the labor statistics department of Buchenwald reported a Czech draftsman, a mechanical engineering designer and an engineer.
