In this document, the German advisor at the Amersfoort employment office notified the Berlin employment office that Nicolaas Dekker from the Netherlands had served his prison sentence in Amersfoort. Dekker had committed a “breach of contract” at the Krupp plant in Berlin and had been sent to Amersfoort for “reform.” Breach of contract could mean several different things; the worker might not have returned after vacation, for example, or he might have broken the rules of his workplace. After his release, Dekker was sent back to his previous workplace in Berlin.
